MaPhilIndo Silat

MaPhilIndo Silat

This system, developed by Guro Dan Inosanto, is a blend of several different fighting systems found in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.  One of the most effective self defense systems in the world, MaPhilIndo Silat combines hand, elbow, and knee strikes with nerve strikes, joint locks, and submission holds.  This system is practiced with sticks, blades, and empty hands.

All Silat styles are pure fighting arts, designed purely for survival in combat.  Because of this, the NPTA will only teach MaPhilIndo Silat to students over 18 years old, who are actively training in Taekwondo. This ensures that our Silat practitioners have the utmost in discipline and self-control.
